Josh & Steph's Manly wedding

Feminine soft pinks & creamy whites, combined with earthy dried blooms for this relaxed beachside wedding.

Whenever a bride reaches out to us interested in having a fresh/dried mix for their wedding we jump for joy! There is something about the juxtaposition of soft fresh flowers with textural dried elements that makes our hearts sing!

Steph & Josh planned a super relaxed wedding weekend & boy did they deliver! They opted to stay in Manly for the weekend with all of their loved ones, & their hotel was in walking distance of their wedding venue - Beachside Dojo Manly. Steph wanted to keep it simple, so she decided to have bouquets for herself & her bridesmaid, buttonholes for the boys, some small hair flowers & blooms for the incredible cake that her cousin made.

Steph chose a nude colour palette mixed with earthy neutrals for a coastal feel to compliment their beachside venue. We used a mix of dried elements including Fern, Morrison, Thistle, Bunny Tails, palms & grasses to create a boho textured dream, & added some coastal whites with soft pinks. This colour palette is definitely a popular choice at the moment! There’s something really delightful about combining ingredients & colours that are entirely different - we think it makes for such unique & interesting creations! We finished the bouquets off with a premium orchid, some divine trailing Amaranthus & tied them off with some naturally dyed silk ribbons.

They tied the knot on Beachside Dojo’s lavish balcony that overlooks Manly Beach before heading up the hill to North Head with the talented Kelly Jury for photos - Kelly is the perfect choice when you want to have a super relaxed day! After getting a lot of beautiful loved-up snaps with iconic views of the bush, ocean & city, they returned to their guests at Dojo for a cocktail setting. To continue with the relaxed vibe, Steph bought sneakers to change into so her & Josh could dance the night away with their nearest & dearest!
